Unlike traditional US postpartum care, our families receive one on one care throughout the first several weeks of new parenthood. Mom and baby are seen at 2 days, 2 weeks and at 6 weeks and more often if there is an additional need. The first few weeks after giving birth are an exciting time as your body heals and adjusts to the fact that you’re no longer pregnant. There will be many changes for each woman, but they all center around one thing: transitioning into life with a newborn and the physical, emotional and hormonal changes that happen after babies are born. At Heart 2 Heart Birth Center, we take this time period into consideration, learn what options are available to you through our postpartum services.

The postpartum period is a cherished and sacred time in a woman’s life. As a client of H2H you are able to stay in a private suite for up to 24 hours after delivery and are treated to breakfast in bed. Throughout your first 6 weeks after delivery, you will have 3 postpartum visits to the birth center to check on your physical and emotional healing.
