Midwives For Support During Your Entire Birthing Journey

Here at Heart 2 Heart Birth Center, you’ll have regular visits with your midwives, Robin and Allison.

Administratively, you’ll meet with our Office Manager & Financial Director, Kat.

Our Education Department is headed up by Jenn Randall but there are several teachers and doulas involved with childbirth education at Heart 2 Heart.

It’s nice to have a name with a face, so I would like to introduce you to our little family here at Heart 2 Heart Birth Center

Robin Coon, LM

Licensed Midwife & Owner

My name is Robin Coon, and I’m a graduate of the Florida School of Traditional Midwifery (Class of 2019). Before becoming a midwife, I had the honor of serving as a birth assistant for nearly 10 years. I’m also a proud mama of 8 children and a Mimi to 7 amazing grandchildren—with hopes for many more in the future!

My own birth experiences shaped my calling in a powerful way. I had my first three babies naturally in the hospital, my next four at home, and my last baby at a birth center. It was during my first home birth that everything changed for me. Instead of fear and anxiety, I felt peace, calm, and overwhelming love. In that moment, I knew—without a doubt—that God was calling me to midwifery, and I wanted every mother to have the opportunity to feel what I felt. That dream took time. I still had babies to birth, children to raise, and figure out a way to pay for midwifery school. While homeschooling our kids alongside my husband, James, I never let go of that calling—and eventually, that dream became reality.

Since graduating in 2019, I’ve served as a staff midwife at several birth centers throughout Central Florida, and I also opened my own home birth practice. When the opportunity to purchase Heart 2 Heart became available, I felt an immediate pull. I prayed over it for more than a year, and when the timing was right, every door opened and everything fell perfectly into place.

I want you to know how deeply committed I am to honoring the legacy of Heart 2 Heart Birth Center, while also gently moving it forward with love, integrity, and God’s guidance. It is truly an honor to serve this community, and I’m so grateful to walk alongside you on your journey into parenthood.

Allison Williams

Licensed Midwife

Allison Williams has been a licensed midwife for the past two years, following a 15-year nursing career specializing in mother-baby care and pediatrics. Her experience caring for women, newborns, and families has shaped her compassionate, family-centered approach to midwifery.

Originally from Canada, Allison moved to Florida after the birth of her first daughter. She is a devoted wife and mother of two who enjoys spending time at the beach, exploring the mountains, photography, and making memories with her family.

Allison believes every mother deserves to give birth with dignity, respect, and compassionate support. She considers it a true privilege to be welcomed into each family’s birth journey and is committed to creating a safe, empowering birth experience where every mother feels heard, honored, and supported.

Kat Joiner

Office Manager & financial Director

Kat joined the H2H Team back in 2019 where she quickly found love for the birth field and has never felt more at home somewhere. If you call us during business hours, Kat’s voice is the first you’ll hear. She’s kind, concise and uber organized. She is THE person who makes sure your papers get where they belong and is the hub for keeping everything running on track and on schedule in our birth center. She is the first and last person you see when coming for your visits, and she keeps our office upbeat and positive. Her side kick Trixie, our office mascot, is often seen under her feet or in her lap.

Kat enjoys living the Florida lifestyle to the fullest. You’ll often find her paddle board strapped to her truck in the parking lot or run into her at one of the local springs on a beautiful day.
