Insurance Options: All insurances are not alike! and each insurance company has a different agreement with each company and further more, they offer different tiers or levels to different employees. What that means is that we can have 50 people who call us with United Health Care and it is very possible to have 50 different agreements. These include deductible and co insurance options that were offered by your employer or as options when you purchased your policy.

These deductibles or co insurances or co pays are your personal responsibility and are paid by you before your insurance will pay their portion of the contract. When you come for a consultation visit, Kat, our Office Manager, will look on your insurance carrier portal to check your insurance coverage. She puts together the amount of any deductible, co insurance percentage and any co pays, along with our registration fee (this covers any or all services that are not covered by insurances in our contracts).

An example of this would be: Our $800 registration fee, plus your $_______ deductible, plus your co insurance of ___% or $__________and perhaps a 1 time $30.00 copay. The total out of pocket $___________ would then be divided by how many months you have left in your pregnancy (example of 7 months, or 7 payments).

What insurance companies are we contracted with? Currently, we hold contracts with BCBS of Florida, United HealthCare, Cigna, Florida HealthCare Plan, Aetna. We do not have a contract with Oscar.

Medicaid Plans: We are not currently a Florida Medicaid Provider and we do not have contracts with Florida Medicaid plans. Florida Medicaid pays so very little that most providers cannot afford to stay in business offering this option. All hospitals accept Florida Medicaid. We do not have a list of Florida Medicaid providers.
