Sonograms are a milemarker in a pregnancy!

We know you want to take a peek and see what's going on in there, so around 18-21 weeks we schedule your sonogram with Morningstar Sonography in Orange City. John Hartwell takes plenty of time to explain all that he is seeing.

Routine OB Sonogram: $150.00

This is a Level One sono and takes about

45 minutes. Includes a CD to share pictures with your family and friends! This sono includes a basic scan (with size and date calculations). If the exam suggests any abnormalities we will be notified for a more complete study. If we are using this test to calculate your due date, we like to have it performed around 18-21 weeks, but John can get great pictures up to 35 weeks!

Gender Only Exam: $95.00

This is a basic scan, and the best time this sono is performed is between 18-21 weeks (before babies get shy and close their little legs)!

BIOPHYSICAL PROFILE (BPP) $150.00

This test uses ultrasound to look at parameters such as baby's tone, movement, breathing movements, and amount of amniotic fluid. It may be ordered if you are more than 41 weeks gestation, or some other special situation exists which makes the information gained from this test advantageous.

Early OB Sonos: $150.00

Same as the Routine obstetrical sonogram, occasionally they add a transvaginal scope to get some better views of the baby. This test is usually done to confirm a pregnancy or to obtain exact due dates.
